Thatch umbrellas at the laybye – an appeal!

IMG_0124Earlier this year, the lay-bye on the Bredasdorp side of Napier was renovated and trees were planted to celebrate the centenary of the Botanical Society. We would like to continue this project by erecting thatch shade umbrellas over the two tables which stand out in the open. Councillor Warnick October has undertaken to have the thatching done at no cost on condition that we supply the necessary poles (8 x 3m class 4 and 16 x 2,4m class 3 poles) at a total cost of R1727.52.

We would like to make this a community project as part of the 175 year celebration of the founding of Napier and are thus looking for sponsorship: any amount will be appreciated.

Please pop in at Media House in Napier to donate – or contact Lindy on 028 423 3834
