Cape Agulhas Tourism, in conjunction with Cape Agulhas Business Chamber, will be hosting workshops focussed on making staff and individuals who work directly with the public more aware of good service and how to go that extra mile for visitors to the region.

The workshop content will cover creating an awareness in tourism, for participants to understand their role in tourism and generate an enthusiasm and respect towards visitors and our region.
09h00: Welcome and introduction
09h30: What happens in your town and how do you fit in? (participants are asked to map their town and pin point its main areas of interest).
10h30: What is a tourist? What is tourism? (overview of the industry – what do participants understand of tourism)
12h00: How do we treat and understand our visitors (various scenarios are played out)
13h00: Light lunch
13h45: How important are Events? What do you think we need to do to make your town more helpful to visitors?
14h30: What have you learnt today? How do you understand your role?
